ONGOING PRAYER INTENTIONS DURING COVID-19. Please pray from your home. Stay safe and healthy. We are praying with you!

For God’s protection for all of God’s children, for the health and safety of everyone during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, we pray to the Lord.

For continuous coordinated efforts among individuals, nations and societies as we all work together to prevent further spread of the coronavirus, we pray to the Lord.

For healthcare workers and all who are on the front-lines, especially those in positions of vulnerability as they work to serve their neighbors, we pray to the Lord.

That in addition to following all the recommendations of the healthcare professionals, we also remember to appeal to God in prayer, we pray to the Lord.

For those are sick and suffering, especially for those who are isolated and without help, for their healing, we pray to the Lord.

For those who have died, for eternal rest for their souls, and for peace and comfort for those they left behind, we pray to the Lord.

O Mary, you shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.

We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick. At the foot of the Cross you participated in Jesus' pain, with steadfast faith.

You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need.

We are certain that you will provide, so that, as you did at Cana of Galilee, joy and feasting might return after this moment of trial.

Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform ourselves to the Father's will and to do what Jesus tells us.

He who took our sufferings upon Himself, and bore our sorrows to bring us, through the Cross, to the joy of the Resurrection. Amen.

We seek refuge under your protection, O Holy Mother of God.

Do not despise our pleas – we who are put to the test – and deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.

They cried to the Lord in their trouble,

And he saved them from their distress;

He sent out his word and healed them,

And delivered them from destruction.

Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,

For his wonderful works to humankind.

Psalm 107:19-21

Lord God,

I pray for all who have become sick or died by the coronavirus that has been spreading around the world.

In your mercy and compassion, deliver us from this disease,

In your holy wisdom, guide all who are working to contain the outbreak,

In your steadfast love, bring healing to all your children who have become sick,

Welcome into your arms the ones that died,

Comfort the ones they left behind.

In faith, I place my trust in you.

In hope, I turn to you in my time of need.

In love, I give glory to your name.

In gratitude, I will praise you with my life.

In your Son’s name I pray.

Loving Father,

As I journey with you during this time of Lent,

Bless me to come closer to you.

Open my heart to realize your abundant love for me,

As I strive to be a better version of myself.

Help me to develop the generosity of heart and mind to

Spend more time with you in prayer,

To courageously let go of the things that I am overly attached to,

To be more charitable with my time and resources.

Bless me with

courage when I am afraid,

Strength when I am weak,

Trust in your steadfast love when I fail.

Grant that my Lenten journey leads to

The inner transformation of my heart,

That I may humbly become a living example of

Your compassionate love in our hurting world.

In Jesus’ name I pray,

Pope Francis' Monthly Prayer Intention: Visit the Apostleship of Prayer website

This year the Augustinians of the Assumption** are celebrating 175 years of serving God's people. This is their monthly prayer intention for March 2020: EMBRACING OUR INTERNATIONALITY

As we celebrate this Jubilee Year, we pray that bonds of fraternal charity be strengthened in our intercultural communities. May we learn to embrace each other's uniqueness and differences, confident that the One who unites is stronger than anything that may divide us. May the gifts manifested through our diversity be brought to the table for the good of all.
